Hans takes around 5 seconds to complete this attack, and the shield can still be broken while he is draining the target. Note that if Hans has grabbed a player, it does not mean the team has completely failed to stop him from healing Players can still salvage this by continuing to shoot at him as he drains his target. The shield's HP value depends on the current phase, difficulty and the number of players. Throughout the Hunting Phase, Hans' shield can be destroyed with enough firepower. Hans will recover 32.5% HP for Phase 1, 27.5% HP for Phase 2, and 12.5% HP for Phase 3. This value is a percentage of his max HP, depending on what phase he is on. If Hans successfully grabs a target he will recover a huge amount of HP over approximately 5 seconds. Damaging with on-perk weapons and then finishing it off with an off-perk weapon divides the XP and grants it to both perks.Killing with weapons other than your current perk grants the XP to the perk that weapons belongs to.The base damage value further modified by the difficulty-specific multipliers. This increase in value is massive per player. Hans Volter has his health value scaled accordingly to the number of players in the game. Under normal circumstances it is impossible to do anything with the bounty earned from killing Hans Volter other than to throw it around in post-victory idle time.
